The colour of Russia before it turned red – The Russian short-story writer and playwright, Leonid Nikolaevich Andreyev, was also a photographer – and, as such, a man before his time. When colour photography was in its infancy he achieved remarkable results with the autochrome process. We present some of his pictures, discovered in a Paris flat.
