Distressed Issues

Unfortunately, some issues are a little less than what we would call in ‘good’ condition, even for their age. These issues might have a missing or badly ripped front cover, some articles cut out or some internal pages missing altogether for example. However, the bulk of the magazine or the main features are still fully intact. It would be a shame to exclude these items from sale, especially as the best bits are still there!

We grade magazines according to condition and we thoroughly check all magazine for signs of wear/damage. However, some magazines do show signs of wear and are graded accordingly. See below for a general guide to condition:

    • New and unread: still in the original packaging or simply unread issues
    • Good condition: read condition, light finger creasing, light wear
    • Fair condition: tears, creasing, generally well-read
    • Poor condition: tears, creases, very well-read, may have some pages loose/missing

We will try and give details of the imperfections and the price will be reflected as appropriate. Of course, if you would like a more detailed appraisal, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

In the meantime, a full list of distressed magazines can be found here – so go grab yourself a bargain.
