Hundreds of letters from school friends and Cavern friends of the Fab four, have been compiled by Gordon Burns and John Tennant, with a little help from their friends. The Sunday Times asked readers in October 1982 for reminiscences and anecdotes to mark the 20th anniversary of Please, Please me , their first No.1 hit, which falls this week
